A 38-year old Canton woman is dead after a one-car crash on Route 62 Thursday night. The Ohio Highway Patrol says Sara Abel was headed west on 62 when her SUV went off the left side of the road, into the grass median, struck a ditch, a culvert and an overhead sign post. She was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. She died a short time later. Troopers say the believe alcohol and/or drugs played a part in the crash. It remains under investigation.
