Ulster County executive bans AI surveillance tech under her authority

Ulster is the latest local county to take action on Flock cameras. Thursday Ulster County Executive Jen Metzger signed an executive order "... prohibiting all departments and employees under her authority from purchasing, contracting for, or deploying Flock cameras or any similar AI‑assisted surveillance technologies." She told NEWS10 the order is in response to a number of concerns she has.
