Wind, rain and a major cool-down is coming to Arizona as the remnants of Tropical Storm Rachel pass by, and another storm system moves in.

Monday is an ABC15 Weather Action Day as a reminder to take action to stay safe as rain and storms move through.
Parts of the Valley could end up with as much as an inch of rain through Tuesday.

Flood Watches are in effect across parts of northern Arizona through early Monday morning.
Flash flooding will be possible in creeks, normally dry washes, swimming holes, and over recently burned areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded, so do not attempt to drive through them.

We'll see several rounds of rain, a chance of thunderstorms, and high winds across Arizona.
Wind Advisories remain in effect for northwest Arizona through Monday morning. Wind gusts could still reach 40 mph in those areas. Winds will pick up across the rest of Arizona again on Monday, with gusts as high as 35 mph here in the Valley.
We're also going to get a big drop in temperatures!
Valley highs will fall into the 80s by Sunday and continue to cool into the 70s by the middle of next week.
